Paul Zalai – Director and Co-Founder FTA, Secretariat APSA VICT PRA – GOOD NEWS FOR EXPORTERS Following a meeting between FTA / APSA and VICT on 15 May 2020, formal advice has been received that from Tuesday 19 May at 09:00, VICT will disable the requirement for a PRA when making a drop off booking.
It is hoped that the ability to book without the PRA, will assist transport operators in planning movements and increasing their box to truck ratio. There will be a limit of 2 x TBA drop off slots in each hour available to all transport carriers.
As a reminder, the PRA must be added to the booking prior to manifesting and bookings listed less than 2 hours before the start of the time zone will attract a list fee irrespective of another carrier taking that listed slot.
If you have any questions regarding this change, please reach out to the VBS helpdesk team at email@example.com
