Customs Service Delivery
Received 12 August 10.22am As a result of the Auckland lock-down, Customs staff in Auckland are now working remotely from home. Staff continue to support the work queue and so far, with staff support from the regions, there has been no major disruption. There will be information going on the Customs website in the next hour which will provide information to the public and the importing/exporting community. You will receive a copy of the information. Please note there is no changes to the movement of arriving and departing essential freight. If your team do have any major issues over the next few days, please make contact in the usual way. Take care Regards Peter Lewis Peter Lewis Manager, Service Delivery (Pou Whakahaere Ratonga) Revenue & Assurance New Zealand Customs Service | Te Mana Ārai o Aotearoa
